Cicada Molting
Cicadas spend anywhere from 2 to 17 years underground depending on the type. I captured a member of the Tibicen genus of cicadas. After the cicada molts the shells remain behind mostly on trees but sometimes on car tires, chairs, fences, and one time even on my pant leg.

Bugs from my Collection
These are bugs from my collection, which has been aptly named, “The Bugorium,” by a very creative individual. The collection has grown a lot since it first began! These specimens include a cicada and a wasp, although not sure which kind. Found in Greensboro North Carolina.
